GROW is a dynamic initiative inspired by the love of Jesus to serve young people in the Glenrothes area. It is run in association with SU Scotland by a team of Trustees and a Management Committee, and is supported by local churches and funders.
GROW is a collaboration of members from various churches across the Glenrothes area. Though we come from different congregations, we are united by a shared faith and purpose. Like trees in a thriving forest, we grow when we support one another—sharing experiences, wisdom, and spiritual strength.
Our mission is to uplift and inspire with a message of hope and purpose—because every young person’s journey matters.
Since 2008, GROW has been connecting with schools, churches, and the wider community—offering practical support to chaplains, teachers, youth leaders and volunteers. Through Scripture Union groups, mentoring, reflective spaces, and Christian residentials, we help young people discover their value, grow in confidence, and experience faith in action.
We believe in creating spaces where young people can explore life and faith, where faith is nurtured through relationships, and where hope thrives through care, mentoring, and belonging.
GROW is more than a project. It’s a space where we nourish one another with encouragement, deepen our faith, and express our love for Christ—together. Inspired by Psalm 96:12–13, we seek to see lives flourish, faith take root, and joy overflow.
Together, we’re building trusted relationships, growing faith, and sharing hope—so that young people in Glenrothes can thrive.
