Our vision to provide an environment where Where young people Explore, Faith grows, and Hope thrives:

Explore
Bringing the Bible to life through stories, questions, and discovery in schools, clubs, and camps.

Faith Grows
Encouraging belief through relationships, reflection, and real-life application.

Hope Thrives
Supporting young people through mentoring, prayer, and consistent care.

At GROW, we create opportunities for young people to explore faith, grow in confidence, and discover hope through meaningful relationships and experiences. Our work centres around schools, churches, and shared residential opportunities—each offering a different doorway into life and faith.

Schools

We support both primary and secondary schools across Glenrothes by contributing to the RME curriculum through dynamic Christian lessons and assemblies that invite curiosity and conversation. One of our resources is “Walk Through the Bible”—a lively and interactive programme using storytelling, drama and music to help Primary 6 pupils engage with the big story of Scripture.

Throughout the year, we also run lunchtime and after-school SU groups, where young people can explore Christianity in a safe, friendly environment. For pupils who need a little more one-to-one support, we offer mentoring when schools request it—providing a listening ear and a steady presence. In addition, we create Reflective Spaces within school settings, where young people can pause, connect, and think deeply about life’s big questions.

Churches

We partner closely with local churches to support their youth engagement and help bridge the gap between schools and congregations. Through joint youth events that use storytelling, drama, crafts, and discussion, we encourage young people to discover how faith can be real, personal, and relevant in their lives.

GROW also helps connect churches to the needs and opportunities within local schools, building long-term relationships that benefit both communities.

“GROW has made a significant and lasting impact, creating a safe and respectful space for meaningful discussions. GROWs thoughtful and sensitive approach has helped our P7 pupils engage deeply, fostering critical thinking and emotional intelligence.”

School/Church Camps

Alongside our day-to-day work, we offer residential opportunities in partnership with SU Scotland—where young people can step away from the busyness of life and experience Christian faith in action.

Whether it’s through shared meals, outdoor challenges, or quiet reflection, these times away often become turning points in a young person’s journey.
